Thank you for your question! It's coming to the Web! Nice question. Since we can respond one-on-one rather than visiting the store in a realistic manner, customers who use it feel that it is fun to listen to the products of Shikabe Town in more detail. If you are interested, please use it.
I visited last summer. At Michi no Eki, you can have footbaths. It was the best footbath while looking at the geysers. In addition, steamed products that use hot spring can be eaten for a fee.
300 yen
This is Shikabekan Ketsusen Park☺
There is plenty of the best Japanese food in the world. Michelin is also overlooked and still amai (lol)
A small little attraction in an unassuming location and a little out of the way. Not your typical tourist attraction: > Safe and controlled environment to see the geyser. > The steam cooking is very novel and not something you see elsewhere.> The foot soaking in hot pool is a bonus.
Geyser every 10 mins
Timely fountain
Should come during summer, instead of rainy days like today. The staff in the store is very friendly. You can buy a serving or two to dip into the hot stream.
Free Natural steam facilitation outside, Visitor can purchase fresh seafood and steam outside. enterance fee is needed. Adult Yen 300, Primary School kid Yen 200. Kindly refer to my picture for more details.
One of the many rest stop
Nice place to relax having a foot bath while waiting to erupt at every 12 minutes. @300yen per pax. Can enjoy your ice cream while waiting.
Went there for a cooking experience class booked throungh a tour agency named Hokkaido Treasure Island. Shucked some live scallop, fillet mackarel and shelled live whelk, then cooked them. One can also buy raw prepared seafoods from the shop and steam them at the designated areas.
Decent rest place!
This geyser park has many great offerings. You can cook a meal in thermal steam using their cooking facilities. You can soak your feet in a thermal foot spa, and you can explore the museum of Geyser's and get a close look at the Geyser itself that goes off every 10-15 minutes. If you enjoy volcanic activity, it is a fascinating place to visit.
A nice break point
Nice place.
Hot geyser display and foot onsen for viewing, small museum and roadside café. Don't forget to get the stamp in the café area (you rubber stamp the collector book or paper sheet with the emblem for this attraction). Nice, unexpected, pit stop.
Great seafood and steamboat.
A Gayser park in Shikabe. it takes around 8 to 12 min every round. the entrance is inside the cafe and gift shop. While you can still watch from the hill behind the park. still recommend to go in. and wear something easy for a foot hot spring. Towel is provided.
Nothing much here except a geyser. Not really a park rather than q big garden to me.
Has a natural geyser and a foot bath.
Really cool little park with cool foot onsen to keep you warm while you watch the geyser erupt. The geyser erupts every 10 minutes and lasts about 45 seconds. They have an area to steam food with natural steam from the geyser. You can buy food to use in the steamers inside the shop. Super cool, highly recommend!
If you are near the area, worth a visit but if have to go there explicitly, then it might be a bit out of the way!
Nice place tucked in between my road trip from sapporo down to hakodate. Arrived at about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. You can buy raw foods from the shop to steam at the steamers powered by geothermal energy. Must try the oysters. They are great and good value.
Good place
Loved it! Delicious oysters and shrimps. Careful instructions and equipment to ensure safety near the steaming boxes. And the fish shop will prep sashimi.Geyser is every 10 mins.
Great for an tourist like me as it is very convenient to the mountain beside it.
